Consequences

Even if you think that your erasure software had been successful, simply throwing out your electronic device is a gamble. It is relatively simple for someone to remove a hard drive and plug it into a new system. Many times data recovery software can bring back the files you thought were “deleted.” Anyone with the right expertise and determination could figure out a way to recover data from a drive that was improperly destroyed.

Erasing Data Is Not Enough

Just because the information has been erased from a hard drive does not mean it is free from theft. That data can still be accessed by someone well-versed in information retrieval, which can lead to a major security breach. The only way to ensure your sensitive information cannot be accessed once the hard drive leaves your premises is to use secure hard drive destruction.

Professional Reasons for Data Destruction

  • Securing Your Data.
  • Legal Requirements Relevant to Data Protection.
  • Cost Savings and Efficient Asset Management.
  • Build Trust in Client Base.
  • Protect Your Reputation.
  • Easy Eco-Friendly Solution.

Our Method

Degaussing

This method will destroy the data with the use of a high-powered magnet. This magnet will interrupt the magnetic field within the electronic medium. This disruption will destroy all the data. It is an efficient and quick way to destroy data on a device that is housing loads of sensitive information.

Shredding

Solid State Drives (SSDs) and memory chips require additional destruction requirements as they don’t react to the degaussing process.  In these cases we dismantle the appropriate hardware and physically shred it to ensure complete destruction.

Destruction

Secondarily, We crush the entire hard drive, causing enough physical damage to the drive that further renders it unrecoverable.

Certification

We issue a certificate of destruction with serial number for every hard drive destroyed at our facilities. The certificate of destruction erasures that degaussing and destruction were successful.
