Government Data Destruction
Governments on both the State and local level are required on various levels to regularly destroy data for compliance standards. Our certified data destruction methods are in line with compliance and security standards set by the DoD for even Top Secret or Classified data destruction. Our partnerships with government agencies provides a seamless and reliable pathway to destroy their data that meet regulatory and budget requirements on a need to know basis.
Our Process
Degaussing
This method will destroy the data with the use of a high-powered magnet. This magnet will interrupt the magnetic field within the electronic medium. This disruption will destroy all the data. It is an efficient and quick way to destroy data on a device that is housing loads of sensitive information.
Shredding
Solid State Drives (SSDs) and memory chips require additional destruction requirements as they don’t react to the degaussing process. In these cases we dismantle the appropriate hardware and physically shred it to ensure complete destruction.
Data Destruction
Certification
We issue a certificate of destruction with serial number for every hard drive destroyed at our facilities. The certificate of destruction erasures that degaussing and destruction were successful.
